There are 3 examples of homophobia in football in recent weeks, Michael Ball, Leicester City, Lee Steele, Oxford City and new West Ham player Ravel Morrison. Employment Tribunals are awarding increasingly bigger payouts for homophobia behaviour. So sadly the new equality laws have not solved everything.
Yet LGBT matters rarely hit the agenda when they should be mainstreamed alongside those concerning Black and minority ethnic people, disabled people and women. Its time for change. Vote Lesley Mansell.
